La compañía de Internet AOL, perteneciente al grupo de medios Time Warner, anunció la disponibilidad de sus servicios online en cuatro países de América latina, como parte de su estrategia para expandirse fuera de Estados Unidos.
Los internautas de la Argentina, Chile, Colombia y Venezuela ahora podrán utilizar el correo electrónico gratuito, la mensajería instantánea y el almacén de fotos de AOL, así como acceder a un portal localizado de noticias, deportes y juegos.
De esta manera, la compañía de Internet suma presencia en 25 países del mundo, con el objetivo de alcanzar los 30 a finales de año, afirmó la empresa.
Además, este lanzamiento sigue al de su portal de video en India, Taiwán y Canadá, y a la expansión europea de su negocio de publicidad online Platform-A.
